Have you heard the news about ReCork? The ReCork program is designed to take our used cork and recycle them into innovative products. While walking in our scenic vineyard I paused a moment to inspect one of the many owl boxes. I scanned the area for evidence of any owl neighbors and as I looked up I was pleasantly surprised to see a moon-faced barn owl staring down at me ... The Grinch may not have had the holiday spirit, but he at least got one thing right, his green complexion. It turns out there are dozens of simple ways to green-up your holiday season. And there's no better way to celebrate the New Year then by helping to ensure we have many more beautiful New Years to come. What do vinegar, lemons and baking soda have in common? Besides being household items, they are all ingredients in effective, cheap, and non-toxic cleaning products. If you have these items in your home then you are just minutes away from green cleaning products. After enjoying a delicious bottle of your favorite Ponte wine at home, what do you do with the bottle?

A recent wedding at Ponte had us all stunned by the beauty, creativity and eco-minded elements incorporated by the bride and groom. We continue advancing our sustainability efforts at the winery and the addition of a pulper in our kitchen is helping us do just that.
