Ponte Winery Toasts 2009 at New Year’s Eve ExtravaganzaCategory: Archive 2008 | Permalink Published: Monday, December 15, 2008 TEMECULA, CA -- Ponte Family Estate Winery announces its sixth annual New Year's Eve Extravaganza on Wednesday, December 31st from 7:00 pm to 12:30 am. "What a fantastic way to wind down 2008 and ring in 2009," says Karon Cartwright, the Food & Beverage Director. "Our Vineyard Pavilion is transformed with sparkling crystals and fabulous peacock feathers." With over 200 in attendance, guests mingle and dance the night away to a live band while counting down to the new year. An evening of extraordinary food, exquisite wine and dancing await all guests. "This will be an evening our guests will not soon forget," remarks Cartwright. ![]() There are four themed menus designed by Executive Chef Steve Stawinski for guests to indulge. "This year's celebration will include an array of food stations featuring an eclectic variety with a wine country twist." says Chef Stawinski. Hoisin-Crusted Lamb Lollipop Chops, Ratatouille Lasagna, Duck Confit Fried Rice and Made-to-Order Chocolate Yeast Risen Waffles are just a few culinary treats for guests to enjoy. Ponte wine is free flowing, with guests choosing their favorite wine with each food course. Tickets to this event can be purchased at www.pontewinery.com, by calling (951)694-9444 or by visiting the winery at 35053 Rancho California Road in Temecula.
