Ponte Winery sets the scene for loversCategory: Press Release | Permalink Published: Monday, January 05, 2009
TEMECULA, CA -- Ponte Winery celebrates the most romantic day of the year with its 6th Annual Valentine's Day Dinner on Saturday, February 14th at 7:00 pm. With intimate tables for two, live dreamy music, and glistening candlelight set in one of the few authentic barrel rooms in the valley, guests can expect to be treated to an opulent night of tantalizing food, wine, and the faint scents of oak and aging wine - all painting the perfect picture of romance that is wine country. Executive Chef Steve Stawinski and his culinary team masterfully creates a 5-course menu utilizing organic and local ingredients such as warm California Lobster, Salmon Creek Pork with a Dark Cherry Jus, Mashed Parsnips and Raspberry Bavarian Cream. "My focus for the food is to create a sensuous, rich meal for lovers using local and natural ingredients," explains Chef Stawinski. "Our Valentine's sweethearts will enjoy the meal as much as I enjoy creating it for them." Each course is paired with the Ponte winemaker's wine selections to enhance the delicious, intense flavors featured throughout this dinner. Tickets to this event can be purchased at PonteWinery.com, by calling (951)694-9444, or by visiting the winery at 35053 Rancho California Road in Temecula. Cost is $95.00 per person or $86.00 for Wine Club members.
