Ponte Winery Offers Special Wedding Rates This WinterCategory: Press Release | Permalink Published: Thursday, September 24, 2009 TEMECULA, CA -- There are few weddings more beautiful than a wine country wedding. Acres of vineyards surrounding your ceremony and reception, award-winning cuisine with estate grown wines to pair, beautiful and intimate venues, and top-notch service.  And now, there are few weddings more reasonable than a winter wedding at Ponte Winery. The winery, located in the heart of Temecula wine country, is offering a 33% discount on weddings with up to 100 guests, booked for January 2010. In February, the cost of weddings will be discounted 25% and in March, couples will enjoy 20% off the cost of their wedding. Unlike many venues, this offer includes weddings booked for every day of the week, including Saturdays. "Weddings in winter can be exceptionally beautiful," explains Food and Beverage Manager Karon Cartwright. "You have the snow-capped mountains in the distance with the rustic beauty of our bare grapevines in the foreground. Together they make a gorgeous backdrop for photographs." A winner in The Knot - Best of Weddings 2008 and 2009, Ponte Winery provides elegant ceremony and reception sites. Wedding ceremonies can be held in three different locations around the grounds: The Vineyard Garden is surrounded by mature willow and cypress trees and offers a romantic, private site with stunning mountain and vineyard views. The charming Fountain View Garden is bordered by vine-covered trellises. Guests will enjoy the view of the delightful rock water fountain as couples say their vows. The mission-style Barrel Room is Ponte's only indoor ceremony location. Filled with wine barrels from floor to ceiling and lit with old world style chandeliers, the Barrel Room offers a romantic setting at its best. After the ceremony, wedding guests will be invited to the reception in one of two locations: The mission-style Barrel room greets guests with stately 15-foot wooden doors which open to the sight and aroma of over 100 barrels with aging wine lining the walls of the room. The newest addition to Ponte Winery is the Reserve Room. This 1250 square foot room contains a patio of equal size that opens up right to the winery's southeast vineyards. Designed to resemble the inside of a Tuscan villa, the Reserve Room boasts soft lighting, dark, rich wood and a fireplace. Couples enjoy delectable menu and wine options from the winery's Executive Chef as well as their own personal wedding coordinator, vendor recommendations, bride and groom cottages for the day of the wedding, and much more.
