Q: What is included in the price?
A: Your ceremony and reception, including 5 hours of event time, a buffet or sit down dinner, hors d'oeuvres, staff for your event, floor length linen cloths and napkins in your choice of colors, round guest tables, Chiavari fruitwood chairs, auxiliary tables, china, flatware, and glassware.

Q: Do you have minimums?
A: Yes. Our minimums on Saturdays are 125 in the Vineyard Pavilion, Friday and Sunday 100 Vineyard Pavilion and 75 in the Barrel Room and Reserve Room.. Minimums are lower midweek.

Q: Do you offer special promotions?
A: Yes, we offer a 10% discount off of our food price for weddings booked Monday through Friday.

Q: Do you offer children's prices?
A: Yes. Children under 12 are $30 per child when selecting from our special children's menu.

Q: Is there an additional facility fee?
A: No. The price per person for food includes the facility fee, which is why we have guest count minimums.

A: No. We'd love to cut and serve your cake to you and your guests!

Q: Is the dance floor included?
A: Yes, in the Vineyard Pavilion. A dance floor is not needed in the Barrel Room. The Barrel Room has flooring that makes a perfect dance floor. A dance floor may be rented for the Reserve Room for an additional fee.

Q: Where can I have my ceremony?
A:We have two beautiful outdoor facilities to choose from for your ceremony. One is the Vineyard Garden, a beautifully manicured, large, round lawn area that overlooks the vineyards complete with a flagstone walkway and a beautiful Arbor. The second is the Fountain View Garden just outside the Vineyard Pavilion.

Q: What kind of chairs do you provide for the ceremony and reception?
A: Chiavari fruitwood chairs with a white cushioned seat are used for your reception. Natural wood chairs with a white padded seat are used for your ceremony.

Q: What is the Barrel Room?
A: The Barrel Room is perfect for a reception with less than 100 guests. It is a Mission-style building with a stone veneer where red wine is stored in aged oak barrels along the interior walls of the room. It has decorative flooring that makes a great dance floor. The Barrel Room has a dramatic and very romantic ambiance with candles on the barrel racks and the lights dimmed.

Q: What is the Vineyard Pavilion?
A: The Vineyard Pavilion is perfect for your reception of 100 to 280 guests. It is a 4800 square foot permanent festival tent, with café Vienna windows and French doors. The Pavilion boasts wonderful 360 degree views of the Ponte Family Estate vineyards. The Vineyard Pavilion is air-conditioned in the warm months and heated on cool evenings.The lighting can be dimmed, the floors are completely carpeted, and there is a large dance floor so you and your guests can dance the night away!

Q: How much time do I have for my event?
A: A total of five hours is included in your package. Additional hours may be purchased for $1,300 per hour, but all events must conclude by 10pm.

A: All events must conclude by 10 pm.

Q: What kind of deposits are required to reserve the date we want?
A: A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total wedding contract or $1,500, whichever is greater, is required to reserve your wedding date. We also require a $500 security deposit that is refundable subject to an inspection of the premises after your wedding.

Q: Can I pay for my event over time?
A:Yes. We require a non-refundable booking deposit and a separate security deposit to reserve your wedding and reception. The remaining balance for your event can be paid in 4 installments.

Q: Can I bring in my own catering?
A: Our Executive Chef and Associates provide all of the food for events at Ponte Winery. The only outside food that can be brought in is your wedding cake.

Q: Can I taste the food to determine my menu?
A: Absolutely. Your coordinator will schedule your private menu tasting on Monday - Friday as you get closer to your Wedding Day.

Q: Can I serve hard alcohol at my wedding?
A: No. We offer a full selection of Ponte Winery wines, along with champagne, imported and domestic beer and soft drinks.

Q: Can I have a cash bar?
A: Yes, we can assist you with that.

Q: Do you serve champagne?
A: Yes! Your champagne toast is included in the Wedding Package.

Q: Do I need to provide a PA system for the ceremony?
A: Yes. Usually your DJ or musician can assist you with this equipment.

Q: Can I have a live band?
A: Absolutely! Bands and DJs make your reception a party! All bands and DJs are subject to the county noise ordinance.

Q: Do I have to use the vendors on your list?
A: No, but we have worked closely with all of them and they have earned the ultimate compliment... our referral.

Q: Do I need to provide a wedding coordinator?
A: Our professional staff will assist you in menu selections, room design and vendor referrals. However, you may find it essential to hire a professional wedding coordinator to assist you in planning your Wedding Rehearsal and Ceremony. Please refer to our Suggested Vendor List. An outside coordinator is not required. Your Ponte Winery coordinator will be on site during your event to organize your rehearsal and ceremony.

Q: Do you have a place for me to get ready on my wedding day?
A: Yes! We have beautifully decorated and furnished cottages for both the bride and the groom. They have everything you need from showers to couches, to hooks to hang up your gown and tux! Both rooms are included in the wedding package!

Q: Can I take my engagement photos at the winery?
A: Absolutely! We invite all of our booked couples to capture the beauty of Ponte Winery and surrounding vineyards in their engagement photos.

Q: Is the tent climate controlled?
A: Yes. In the summer, the Vineyard Pavilion is air-conditioned. In the winter the Vineyard Pavilion has central heating.

Q: Who does the set up and clean up for the event?
A: Our Associates will take care of all of the preparation and clean up of your event. We will coordinate with your florist and vendors to execute your event just like you planned it.
