March
Empty Bowls
In March, Temecula Valley High School rallies together community sponsors to fill their hand-made bowls with food and sell the bowls and the meals at an event to fight hunger in the Temecula area and abroad. The Restaurant at Ponte will donate 5 gallons of soup to this great cause.

April
Coins for Kids and Round-Up
During the month of April we will once again draw attention to Child Abuse Awareness Month by wearing blue ribbons and allowing our guests and members to donate by putting out "coins for kids" donation boxes with proceeds going to Rancho Damacitas, a local home for abused and neglected children. We will also incorporate a "round-up" program in which patrons are able to round their total charge amount up to the nearest dollar, with the change amount being donated to Rancho Damacitas.

Kick-off meeting for ½ marathon / Team Ponte
On April 25th we will hold a kick-off meeting to create Team Ponte, the running team for the America's Finest City ½ marathon, taking place in San Diego August 19th. Members, Guests and Associates will come together to learn about Rancho Damacitas and how Team Ponte works to raise funds to be donated to this organization. Refreshments and wine will be served too!

Evening Under the Oaks
In 2012, Ponte will participate in Oak Grove's largest fundraising event, an Evening Under the Oaks. We will help by donating the salad course, wine and gift baskets.

Movie Night
In June, Ponte will hold the fourth annual movie night. This family-friendly event supports Team Ponte's fundraising efforts for Rancho Damacitas. Team Ponte is racing in the 2012 America's Finest City ½ Marathon. If you are interested in joining Team Ponte or volunteering at movie night, please contact us!

Mend a Broken Heart
Often, when children are removed from an abusive home and placed in shelters or foster care they have nothing that belongs to them, nothing of their own for comfort. By joining My Stuff Bags during their Mend a Broken Heart Campaign we will be providing 180 children with a bag full of special belongings, all their own. Learn more at My Stuff Bags.

America's Finest City ½ Marathon
For months, Ponte associates and Wine Club Members will work to collect sponsorships for running San Diego's AFC ½ Marathon. In August, the team will run the race and donate all proceeds to Rancho Damacitas, a local community group home for abused and neglected children.

Blanket Drive
In September we will encourage our guests and Wine Club members to provide warmth to homeless children by donating blankets and sleeping bags to the Temecula Community Pantry. In return, we will offer discounts in the Tasting Room.

October
Volunteer Day - Oak Grove
In October, Ponte Associates and volunteers will work with Oak Grove Administration on a Volunteer Day to benefit the students living on this campus.

November
Angel Flight West Annual Golf Tournament
In November we will donate wine and gifts to Angel Flight West's Annual Golf Tournament. Angel Flight works with its pilot members to provide flight transportation to hospitals across the nation for sick patients unable to afford transportation.

December
Holiday Canned Food Drive
Guests and Associates will work to fill the shelves of the local Temecula Community Pantry by offering discounts and incentives for anyone who makes a donation. Ponte associates will be given raffle tickets during the month of December for every can of food or non-perishable item they bring in. Associates enjoy an end-of-year raffle for prizes at our annual Christmas party.
